Kilmarnock travelled to Wishaw for the second time in two weeks to play City of Glasgow Ragazzi, this time in the Top Teams Cup.

Although Kilmarnock had a full strength starting 6 on court, they got off to a poor start in the first set.  Serving and passing errors meant they could not mount a serious challenge against a very experienced Ragazzi side, and although they did manage to put up a fight towards then end, Ragazzi took the set 25-16.

The second set was slightly more promising from Killie.  Both middle hitters, Gus Mitchell and Stewart Caldwell, were having joy in both hitting and blocking.  The set was close throughout and the lead switched hands several times.  Towards the end of the set, City Of Glasgow showed their quality and managed to win 25-23.

In the third set, the little momentum Killie managed to build in the second set seemed to disappear as they went back to the careless errors of the first set, eventually going down 25-14, taking them to a 3-0 defeat and their worst result of the season.
