Scottish National Team coach Simon Loftus recently named his squad for the upcoming European Small Countries in Andorra. Stuart Edgar’s inclusion in the squad completes an outstanding season for the Ayrshire player.

Stuart started the 2009/10 season as player/coach at the Ayrshire side and it turned out to be a great season for the club and Stuart personally. He had a great season and was voted 2nd best player in the country in the Player’s Player of the year vote, behind Edinburgh setter Gavin Watt. As player/coach, Stuart led his young team to the Scottish Cup Semi-Final and the National League Play-off Finals. The Kilmarnock second string also won the National League Second Division.
